Multiple email accounts

I have multiple email accounts. I understand that once inside Outlook, I
can't switch accounts. I must first exit; then open Outlook again with the
different profile. That's okay.

What I would like, though, is to be able to verify or re-verify WHO I AM
once inside Outlook either by having my account name on the top line or by
being able to click on something.

What version of Outlook are you using? Outlook 2002 and later allow for
multiple email accounts in the same profile.
