I have a list of email addresses that I would like to block. I'm trying to
avoid adding them as contacts, and instead just copy them all into a rule.
I can make a rule that blocks one address, but if I add another, it doesn't
work. I don't know if it's due to the syntax (, vs. ; vs. space etc.), or
because the rule won't run if it's from only one email address when every
email address is listed.

Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Blake,
Do you happen to have the Execute drop-down list in the rule set to
"If all criteria are met"?
If so, set it to "If any criteria are met".

Actually, I thought it worked, until it deleted 30 messages/attempted to
send out 30 responses to addresses that weren't specified in the rule.
Maybe the addresses need to be in quotes, or separated by semicolons instead
of commas, or ....

The easy way is to add them to the Address Book and mark them with a
category called "block".

Create a rule

If in category "block"

Move message to Deleted Items folder

Using individual addresses just so you don't have them in the Address Book
is going to do nothing but cause you problems and make it more difficult to
add to this list in the future.
