MULTIPLE EMAIL ADDRESSES - INVISIBLE TO RECIPIENT

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Email Client: pop I've read previous entries about sending one email to multiple recipients without showing the LIST of other recipients. The responses were confusing and not really helpful. Is it possible to do this on 2004 Entourage or not?

The easiest thing to do is to stick the addresses in the BCC, instead of
the TO area. This will hide the addresses from the recipients. I believe
you can also specify whether a list of addresses will be private or not
when you set it up as an alias in your address book, but it doesn't
matter if the addresses are all in BCC.

Thanks David. That was easy to follow. I guess now I just have to get my head around who you put in the TO field - I'll test it to see if it works with nothing in this field.

Really appreciate your (fast) response).

I don't believe will work. You need to include at least one address in
the To: field to make Entourage send the e-mail message. Since you want
your list of recipients to be invisible, you might want to put your own
e-mail address in the To: field.
