Multiple files open when I access Project 2007 macros

Whenever I access macros within Project 2007 a number of project files
open. I am looking to stop this, but can not figure out the cause. I
verified that these files are not resource sharing. I removed modules
from the filters tab in the organizer. I verified that macros from
the other files are not pointed to in my original file.

What am I missing?

Need help,

I do find that the files listed include the ones that will open when I
run the VBE. So what can I do to stop them from openning up when I
launch the VBE for the one file I am working on? My goal is to have
all three files become independent of each other.

BTW - I have developed a number of macros that I would like to use for
any given number of project schedules. Do you recommend creating a
new .mpp file to house all the macros and then open the file when I
need to run a given macro.

Thanks again,
Jag

Figured it out. The problem was in VBE. Once in VBE go to the
Project Explorer [Ctrl+R] and open the ProjectGobal Section and look
for References. To remove a project title in this section go to Tools/
References in VBE and uncheck VBAProject until the reference to the
other project title is gone.

Thanks for pointing the way.
