I have created several applications with Access XP, using several front-ends
for different applications within a project. Each front end is linked to
several backend databases, sometimes with links to the same back end as
another front end.
What I would now like to do if possible is to create a master project
front-end that links all the front-ends together and uses a form to enable
the end user to select which application front-end to run. The master
front-end will also include all the references and links to all the back-end
data files and since the application needs to be transportable from one
project to another and sometimes to different machines.
Is it possible to have the linked tables nested, ie. the link refers to a
linked table in a different front-end which in turn links to the back-end
data file.
Any help in resolving these issues will be greatly appreciated.
TIA
