I have two hotmail accounts being managed with outlook 2003 as well as a pop3
account. My problem is this:
SOMETIMES (not always) outlook does not switch accounts properly when I
check one hotmail account, then the other, for emails. Depending on which I
check first, when I switch to hotmail #2 the headers in the inbox are the
same as the headers for hotmail #1, and it will treat them as such. ie, I
delete it in hotmail 2, hotmail 1 is modified.
If I close outlook and re-open it, usually this problem goes away but not
always.
ALSO
For some reason when I check my mail there appears to always be a message
being sent, even though I have not written an email and the outbox in all
accounts are empty. May I have a virus?
ALSO
My pop3 account has serious issues sending messages. I have a sympatico
email account for pop3 but my ISP is presently rogers... they deny it but I
suspect there is some sort of blocking program on their end to keep their
uses from using competition's accounts. Whenever I move my computer to a
different internet provider (this is a mobile pc) or go to use the LAN at my
school, I can send messages fine. This only happens on my home network.
