Multiple hyperlinks in one cell

I can't seem to find an answer to this question of whether I can put three hyperlinks in one cell. I want each to go to the same cell in a different sheet in the same workbook.

Well, here's your answer: No :) Any given cell can contain only one active
hyperlink at a time. HYPERLINK is the formatting of the cell, not the
individual pieces of content within it.

You "can" put, for example, 3 URLs into a cell but then you can't choose
which one you want to use at on any given occasion. When you click the cell
your browser will open the first one.

For what you are describing why not just click in the Name Box at the left
end of the Formula Bar, type the cell reference & press return?

Or

If it's a matter of not remembering the references, assign range names to
each of the target cells. The names will appear in the Name List when you
click its button. Just select the one you want to go to.

One way to fake it:

Put the text in the cell, formatting it the way you want it, e.g.:

link1 link2 link3

Now draw a rectangle (Drawing Toolbar) and place it over "link1".
Right-click the rectangle, choose Hyperlink, and set the hyperlink to
the cell you want.

Set the rectangle background to Black and Transparancy to 100%. Set the
line color to No Line.

Repeat for link2 and link3

You sly devil you ;-)

But the links will still point to the wrong cells if the OP inserts or
deletes rows/columns that fall between the link cells & the target cells...
That was the main concern. Is there any way to avoid that?

I'd link to named ranges instead of cell references. That won't help if
the linked cell is deleted, of course, but if you have fixed cells, e.g.:

A
1 My List
2
3 A
4 Aardvark
5 Apple
6 Azure
7
8 B
9 Bat
10 Bear
....

then name cell A3 "A_Top", A8 "B_Top", etc., and hyperlink to them
instead.
