Multiple "I want this to work" issues after migrating FROM Thunderbird.

1. Junk-mail controls. Why dont they scan custom "In" folders? Got Rules
to put messages in different folders. All spam slips through! Looking
for solution.

2. Integrated News reader. I got rid of all other e-mail software. Do I
really have to install some again?

3. Import mail from Thunderbird/Mozilla. Microsoft do not comply with
standards? RFC822! Had to make this through a workaround usin THREE
e-mail software. :(

4. Multiple accounts - separate storage. Why is this so difficult to set
up? I want EVERY mail account stored in different files. Looking for
solution.

....and some more coming later...

Because they don't.

Move the Junk Mail rule to a spot above the other rules.

You didn't get rid of Outlook Express, and that's what Outlook uses by
default to read news.

The message store's format has nothing to do with RFC 822. Mozilla doesn't
use RFC 822 guidelines for the message store, either, since that RFC doesn't
apply to the format of the mesasge store. Mozilla/Thyunderbird uses the
mbox format. To transfer Mozilla's mbox message store to Outlook, you
migrate it to Netscape V4, import it from there with Outlook Express and
then export it from there to Outlook. See

4. Multiple accounts - separate storage. Why is this so difficult to
set up? I want EVERY mail account stored in different files. Looking

Use Rules or multiple profiles.
