This is a resend. Since Microsoft will no longer answer my

I have recently upgraded my computer,(motherboard,
processor, ram, video, etc). I wanted to use the existing
hard drive because it was already set up with Windows XP
Pro, Office 2000 and a multitude of other programs, but I
also installed a new hard drive for additional storage.
When I started the computer, Windows evidently did not
like the new setup and would not start, not even in safe
mode. Over a period of two days I tried everything that I
could to save my installation. Nothing worked. I ended up
changing the hard drives around, using the new drive as
master and the old drive as slave. I reinstalled Windows
on the new drive, but Office still would not work. I ended
up reinstalling Office. Now everything works, but I now
have multiple copies of Windows and Office on two separate
drives. I can't do an uninstall, because it sees my
current copy. When I reinstalled Office, it did not ask me
to register, so I am assuming that it took the current
registration from the other copy. Can I safely delete the
other copies from the other drives? Will anything happen
to my current installation?
