We operate a small helpdesk here for our customers. The customer sends mail
to (e-mail address removed). There are about 5 users with access to this account
that continually monitor it. These users also have their own mailbox,
(e-mail address removed). I have them configured so that Outllook opens up
(e-mail address removed) and places it first in their list. I have configured
(e-mail address removed) to be opened as an additional mailbox, so that the users
can monitor both accounts. We want all correspondence with
(e-mail address removed) to be replied to with the support address. The manager
of the support department also wants to be able to view all items sent with
that mailbox. We would also like the users to have the ability to use their
calendar within outlook and retrieve reminders. To this point, I have only
been able to make all of this work with the first mailbox in the list
([email protected]) If I reverse them and place (e-mail address removed) first,
the calendar and reminders work, but all correspondence with the customer
look as though it is being sent from (e-mail address removed) and the sent items
are recorded in flip's mailbox not in the support one. Is there anyway to do
this, maybe public folders or something. I don't really want to use Outlook
rules, as I have found them to be unstable in the past. We are running
exchange 2003 and outlook 2003.
