Multiple Lines in One Cell

I recently switched to using a Mac. On a Windows machine I was able to create line breaks within a cell, so that one cell could have text on multiple lines. I did this by clicking ALT + ENTER and it would drop me down to enter a second line of text within the same cell. This is a similar feature to 'Word Wrap,' but Word Wrapping does not hold the displayed formatting if you change your print scaling settings. Is there a way to enter these line breaks with a cell in Mac's 2008 Excel?
