Multiple Lines Of Text Within A Cell

Hi, i'm able to do this in Windows, but unsure how to translate it to my mac...

how can I get multiple lines of text in one spreadsheet cell?

I am able to do the format>cells>wrap text. But I want to be able to insert
a new line, ie a list.

TIA for any help you can give

Hello Dan,
Sorry I'm on PC so I might be mistaken but should be CONTROL+OPTION
+RETURN

Dan,

Try "Command" + "Option" + "Return" button. This should start a new line
within a cell

Option+Command+Return will give you what you're looking for... But if you're
really trying to put together a *list* it would be better for each item to
be in a separate cell (a separate row) rather than being jammed into a
single cell.

Hi Cyber Taz,

I understand that a proper list should have separate cells, however, my
"list" was just a was to explain the formatting and presentation.

You answer resolved my question.

Thank you
