Multiple listings in Mail Merge

The Mail Merge option appears 21 times in the Tools menu
of my MS Word 2000. I don't know how to delete them and
they seem to be increasing every time I use the Tools
menu.

What causes this and how can I delete the additional
listings of Mail Merge?

Typically this occurs when you have Microsoft Works Suite and is caused by
an add-in which you can uninstall in Control Panel|Add/Remove Software. You
can then use Word Tools|Customize, open the Tools menu, and drag all the
extra items off the menu.
