Multiple Master images not showing

I've created a presentation, and a template that is similar but has
different images placed on the master slide. I've tried dragging,
copying, applying the slide design (template) throught the Format menu,
none of these work. Different type style does apply, but not the images
I've placed in the template.
Any thoughts?
