multiple messages coming in to inbox

Hi Everyone,

I have a strange thing happening to my email. It only happens maybe twice a
week, but when it happens it is quite annoying. What happens is that when my
outlook (version 2000 with all updates applied) retrieves mail it brings in
multiple copies of a message (usually 3-4 copies). i am setup to retrieve
mail through a pop3 server. Any ideas would help a lot.

Hi,

Try logging into the Webmail and check for any large emails. Try deleting
those large emails as many as possible and try send/recv in Outlook. It could
be that the outgoing server is blocked with the large emails and they keep
duplicating.
