multiple name entry in 'Resources"

When I enter multiple names, say Tom, Dick, and Harry for the same task in "Resources," will Project treat each name as a separate entity when I publish task lists for each individual?
Thank you.

Hello,

Yes. They will be multiple resources with the same name. You can use the
shared Resource Pool functionality to reduce this problem. If you are using
Project Server 2002/2003, you can use the Enterprise Resource Pool that
provides quite a bit more functionality.
