Hi
I have an interesting problem with Word 200 bullets and
numbering.
All the paragraphs have outline numbering, using Word's
builtin Heading 1, 2, 3, etc.
Within this numbering structure, I want to use 2 typesof
numbered lists - a, b, c...etc as well as using i, ii,
iii...etc in the same document.
I find that, one I have used a, b, c... and i, iii,
iii... once each in the document, neither of them will
restart the numbering if there is only 1 higher-level
paragraph between them (also, the "Restart" radio
button in the Format Bullets and Numbering box is greyed
out, not available).
The numbers restart fine, however, if there are at least
2 higher-level paragraphs between them.
Is this a known problem ? I've looked in various places
but can't find any reference to it. Is there a way
around it ?
Thanks
Dave
