Multiple-Ordinate Dimension Line Precision & Units

Why do the second through fourth dimensions havene more decimal place than
the first, and is there a fix to correct this? The first dimension is the
only one that displays the number of places specified.

I'm a little confused by your question. The default is 2 decimal places.
But, the precision can be changed by right clicking the dimension shape,
selecting Precision and Units, clicking the drop down arrow for precision,
and then selecting the desired precision. You can also click the Define
button at the bottom of the menu and make a variety of custom changes. But,
I don't believe you can change the default setting.

No matter what number of decimal places is selected, only the first dimenion
in the group of 4 will have that number, all the others will have one more
decimal place. If you right click on the icon for either horizontal or
vertical multi-ordinate dimensions and select help you'll see that the
example has the same problem, i.e. 0.40, 0.700, 1.170.
