multiple Outlook 2003 profiles: emails getting sent to both profil

I have set up two Outlook profiles on one PC. I have set it so that the user
is prompted for which profile to use when logging in.

One profile asks for a password; the other doesn't.

The owner of the second profile noticed that emails sent to her account were
being sent to both profiles on the PC. when investigating, I also noticed
that when logged into the first profile, it brings up a screen for the second
profile to ask for the password.

how can I fix this problem?

Gosh, this sounds a little off.

Are you using and Exchange server?
Did you name the profiles in a clearly unique way?
Are you using cached mode?
Is the same Active Directory account the owner of both of
the mailboxes involved?

Just off hand it sounds like the profiles may be using the same
OST and/or Profile.
