In Citrix Xenapp (client session), I am trying to create multiple
Outlook 2003 profiles under a single login session. This is no problem
to do locally, of course.
But in the Citrix session, the first profile is fine, but if the user
creates a second OL profile under the same user login (since, for
example, you can't put multiple Exchange accounts under a single
profile) I can create the profile, but when I attempt to use it, it
never successfully authhenticates even though it accepts the
login/password when checking the name to create the profile.
So, for example, if I have test1 and test2 as two separate OL profiles
in my given Citrix session, I can start OL and choose test1 and give
password, and successfully run OL. But if I try to pick the test2
profile, even though the name & password were checked when creating the
profile, it just keeps coming back to re-prompt for the authentication
when starting OL and never gets past that to open the program.
I'm looking for possible reasons & fixes for this behavior, since
clearly I can have multiple OL profiles, and the very same profiles work
locally (i.e. not in a Citrix session.)
Any thoughts, anyone ever seen this?
Version of OL is 2K3 with SP3 installed.
Thanks.
