Multiple Page Numbering on One Page

I have a document that has two sets of page numbering:

1. Page x of y for the entire document.
2. Page x of y for each Attachment in the document.

Is there a way of dong the second Page x of y that does not affect the page
number of the first page x of y?

Depends. What's an attachment?

If this were all one Word doc, divided into sections, you could restart the
pages at each section and show Y as the number of papers in the section.

The hard part, though, is getting the X for whole document when the page
numbering is restarting in each section.

You use {Page} for the whole doc X but fake a SectionPage field.
