Multiple Personal Folder in Outlook 2007

bOS is Vista Business with Office SBE 2007. PC crashed.

Importing PST files and on each import a new Personal folders opens and I
now have hundreds of e-mails in the different personal folders. Is there any
way of preventing this on import? I need to have all incoming mail in one
Inbox and all sent mail in one Sent Items folder. They just seem to pour in
all over the place. Your assistance will be so greatly appreciated.

They will import where you tell them to. What are you trying to achieve?

Instead of importing, directly connect to the pst-file via;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

You can then move the messages around or set the folder set as the default.
