Here is a great question for someone. I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003.
Somehow I ended up with 4 personal folders. I do not know how this happened.
Well, I recently bought a new hard drive and reinstalled Outlook. I had a
backup of the .pst file for everything in my inbox and subfolders which I
restored with no problem. The mistake I made was trying to copy the email
settings from the old hard drive using a registry key. I found a blog on a
site that talked about copying mail settings. It gave explicit instructions
about what registry keys to use and how to export them. Here is the website
where I got the insturctions...
http://www.whoisdeep.com/2006/03/07/backup-email-accounts-in-microsoft-outlook-2003/
So now I have 2 problems.... multiple personal folders and incorrect
registry settings.
Is there a way I can restore original registry settings for Outlook?
