Multiple 'Personal Folders' following Outlook 2000 update?

After moving my Outlook.pst file from an older computer with Outlook 2003 and
Win2K to my new computer with Outlook 2003 and WinXP, I have multiple
Personal Folders. Neither can be removed using any of the steps Microsoft
suggests. After a send/receive, new messages appear identically in both
Personal Folders. The real problem is that in order to address an e-mail, I
have to copy and past the address from my Contacts list; Outlook doesn't seem
to auto-recognize any Contacts when simply typing them in an e-mail or
clicking on the "To..." button. These issues were not present on my Win2k
machine...

How (and why) did you move this file? Whatever you did corrupted your
profile. You'll need to create a new one and configure it to use the correct
Outlook Data File.
