Multiple Personal Folders

For some reason, Outlook has decided to duplicate
everything. I have multiple copies of the "Outlook Today
Personal Folders". Everytime I close a reopen Outlook it
adds another complete set of folders. How can I get rid of
them?

Right-click on the root node for a folder branch (the one with "Outlook
Today") and see if the Close item is enabled. It will NOT be enabled
for whichever information store is currently configured to receiving
incoming e-mails, but you can close the others.
