Multiple POP3 Accounts

Hi,

We have three pop3 domains coming into an exchange server. A single user
has e-mail addresses on each of these domains. We have setup each user with
three accounts on the server, each account receiving one of the Pop3 e-mails.
From a single log-on, we want to view each account, and reply from that
account. We don’t know how to implement this, so any suggestions would
really be appreciated.

Is each email address going to a different mailbox or do they all go into
one?

mailbox1 = (e-mail address removed)
mailbox2 = (e-mail address removed)
mailbox3 = (e-mail address removed)

or
mailbox = (e-mail address removed) (default address) and (e-mail address removed) and
(e-mail address removed)

For the first (which is how you seem to describe it) - give the user full
permission to the mailboxes and add the additional mailboxes to the profile.
As long as he has send as permission, the messages should go from the
correct account. If not, he can type the correct address in the from field
before sending.

Thanks for the response. You are right, we will have:
mailbox1 = (e-mail address removed)
mailbox2 = (e-mail address removed)
mailbox3 = (e-mail address removed)

Since we are running Exchange Server my question the sent e-mails have the
mailbox1’s address on it. Is there anyway to sent the e-mails from
mailbox2’s ID. Also will there be any kind of authentication problem with
this?

On Exchange server, go to ADUC and find mailbox2 - give mailbox1 Send As
rights to the mailbox.
