Multiple Profiles in Outlook 2007

It seems like everywhere I read I find the answer that it can't be done.

Scenario. I have a computer on a network with a generic login that multiple
people use. Each user has a profile in Outlook and it is setup so that when
you open up outlook it will request which profile. Once you select the
profile you want it will request the username and password from our Exchange
Server.

The problem that I have is that for 5 of the 8 users, I can hit cancel on
the password login and it will continue to open up outlook and you can see
the user's emails. You cannot receive or send any email until you supply the
password. For 3 of the 8, you can hit cancel on the password and a message
will pop up stating that it cannot open the stored data and proceed to close
Outlook. All profiles used to once do that, but now I have 5 for some reason
that will allow any user to view other users email.

How can I change it again so that all have them will not permit access to
anyone unless you type the correct password?

they log on and off?

There is only one user profile other than the admins account on this
computer. So they are only login into the computer through that one account
and that account is setup for multiple profiles in Outlook itself.

Thank you for the information but I don't see why I would have to setup the
..Net Passport since the existing three users aren't setup that way. I know
that 6 of the 8 users were setup that if you don't type in the password it
would not let you have access. It just happened to change after someone added
two new user profiles and then somehow 2 older profiles changed and permitted
access to the emails.

The ones who can see their mail are clearly using Cached Exchange mode and
they're viewing their OST folders. This is normal, desired behavior,
usually. Check the other three to see if their profiles enable Cached
Exchange mode. If your goal is to NOT be able to see messages unless one is
connected to the server, then disable Cached Exchange mode.
