multiple published projects

for reproting and multiple editing, i opened multiple projects in one megaproject by selecting them from the PWA and then clicked on edit in project.
i printed out the requested reprots and changed some tasks dates.
now i wanted to collaborate and publish the new edited assignments but i found out that i need to save the mega file first which is something i don't wont. Ok i've saved that file and published the tasks but what i found out is that all the tasks in my task view in the PWA are now subtasks of the newly created mega file and i don't want that.
is there a way to publish multiple tasks in different project other than that?
please help
