Multiple PWA Login after publishing

Rick North

Hi all,

This is more of an annoyance than anything else. We set up PWA fine and
published it using SSL via ISA 2006. The site is configured to use Windows
Authentication.

When we access the site externally using the published URL, initially it
asks for login credentials 3 times before loading the main page and
thereafter almost everytime a link is clicked or a page loads.

It only asks for the credentials continuously when using the external URL.
If I'm connected locally or use a VPN and then the local server name in the
URL, it works fine.

So it must be something with the way ISA handles the authentication...I just
don't know what?

After browsing around I found something to do with a Discuss item in IE but
this is not the case sadly.

Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried adding an entry in your Managed Passwords in Windows as a
possible work around? Specify the external URL and your windows account and
login under Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>Advanced>Manage Passwords.
