Multiple related contacts

Hi,

I'm trying to create a tab where a user can relate one contact to up to ten additional contacts, including a custom drop-down for each row that describes how the two are related. I used the out-of-the-box controls for linking a contact to one other contact, and that works fine. However, once I pick that first related contact, it populates my other nine text fields with that first contact's name. Is there a way that I can make nine new unique fields based off of the Contact field and of type Recipient to allow this?

Thanks.

No. You would have to create your own custom fields for this. You can't add new recipient-type fields.

Hi,

Thanks much for the response. Is there an easy way to create a custom field that functions the same way as a recipient-type field? Thanks again.

Wade,

You may want to take a look at our product http://www.tabtag.com which lets
you set up relationships between contacts - and all the information is
stored in a SQL database.
