You can't consolidate resource data then expect different rates. You can
have 5 rates for each resource and use any of the five (A-E) for any
assignment. Set up a standard to control which rate belongs to which type of
work, then assign rates to assignments using the Cost Rate Table field in
the Task or Resource Usage views.
