Hi,
I had a question related to assigning multiple resources to a task.
Here is the scenario:
- Let's say a task is assigned 8 hrs of work
- 4 resources are assigned to it, with each resource 100% units
- Therefore, each resource is supposed to work 2 hrs on this task.
Correct?
- The first 3 resources enter their actual work = 2 hrs and adjust
remaining time to 0 hrs.
- The 4th resource didn't end up working on the task and therefore,
enters actual work = 0hrs and remaining work = 0hrs.
Now my question is will Project show the task as 100% complete or not?
Secondly, would it adjust the original work value? Finally, does the
total actual work end up as 6hrs?
Thanks. I'd appreciate the help.
