Multiple sharepoint services..

Hi all,
We just completed creating a second PWA and MS Database copy on the same
server so one access is used for production and the other for training /
testing... We used MS tech support for assistance. Access to both work great
in MS Project and PWA... The Sharepoint services are distinctly different....
here's the problem...

The newly created training PWA SharePoint services is working fine... and
documents appear as they should.. The production one no longer works and we
recieve the standard error of "there is a problem establishing a connection
wtih the Web server running Windows SharePoint Sevices...."

We don't know where to go from here and tried synching admin accts -- just
cuz I think...
