I've always been able to run multiple sound effects at the same time in
PowerPoint presentations wiht looping, repeating starting at specified times,
etc., and have several presentations that still work fine on this machine.
I'm working on a new presentation and the sounds in this file will not play
simultaneously. Any sound placed in a slide cuts off the old sound instead of
playing with it. This includes the background sound started at the second
slide and set to play through multiple slides. As soon as a special effect
..wav file starts somewhere in the presentation, the background sound dies and
does not come back, even with the proper settings.
What got changed?
