Templates in Word XP are taken from two locations (i.e.
workgroup templates and user templates) and merged
together. Is there any mechanism for achieving the
equivalent with the Startup folder?
I would like the Startup folder to be on the network so it
can be managed centrally. However, applications such as
Adobe Acrobat load a template into the Word startup folder
and I don't want this template to appear in the network
startup folder as it will then be visible to everyone
regardless of whether they have Adobe installed.
