multiple templates

i am creating a powerpoint presentation for a class using autocontent wizard.
i also need to apply the radial design template to one of my slides in the
same presentation. the radial template is not already on powerpoint, so i
went to download it from microsoft.com, but i can only download it into a new
presentation. how can i get both of the templates i need onto one
presentation, if they will both only download/open in a new presentation?

Depends on what version of PPT you have. Multiple masters was a new feature
in XP; it is not available in previous verisons.

After you download the template to a new presentation, use File | Save As
and save it to your harddrive. Make sure to change the "save as type"
dropdown to "template *.pot."

Now you can follow the instructions Linda gave for using multiple masters.
You may need to use the Browse button at the bottom of the Design pane and
navigate to the Radial template when you're ready to apply it to the
individual slides.
