I would love to see time zone added (as an optional field) on the start and
end times for appointments (and reminders).
I travel and there is no software that I have been able to find to enter
appointments into Outlook that start in one time zone and end in another.
Changing the time on my calendar causes problems (or at least always has)
with recurring events and untimed items on the calendar.
What is available is something that allows me to enter my itinerary but it
enters it as if it were all occuring in the current time zone. A recent
flight from Denver to London (a nine hour flight) was entered as a sixteen
hour flight because of the time difference. The return trip, however, was
entered as only two hours... it just seemed much longer as I was on the plane.
Since there is a caledar setting for "Current Time Zone" in the options
menu, having an event time zone field would enable me to enter the start and
end times for an event based on the time zone the event will start and end in
and the display would show the correct duration for the event.
I have seen a request to show more time zones, I concur... I am often
transacting business in three or four time zones on a single day.
