Multiple users entering data

I would like to build an Access database for multiple users to enter and
retrieve data in a Form. They will not only enter data, but after each entry
run a set of macros that will update and populate fields in a table. The
database will be on a shared drive, but does Access support multiple users
possibly entering data at the same time? I’ve built one for a smaller group
(2-3 people), but there will be 20+ people using this database.

Hi Annetta, I am intermediate but have used access a long time. My opinion
is the answer is yes Access supports multiple users. But 20 ,
simultaneiously, is getting to the upper range.
I would just say set it up and then test vigilantly to make sure you don't
have issues.

Annetta,

The short answer is yes. However, what I have also noticed is that your
network stability is a crucial component to the overal stability of your
database.

Also, for multiuser database such as that which you are proposing, you MUST
split your database and distribute a copy of the front-end to each of your
users.
