We are experiencing an issue where multiple users are connected to a shared
Access DB on a network resource; while these users are working in the DB they
randomly get the message: \\server\share\accessDBname.accdb is not a valid
path.
They mostly experience this after a period of inactivity in the DB, however
it has happened to users as they are entering data, of course the data
entered is the lost when the issue occurs.
Closing Access and reopening the DB resolves the issue. Is there a timeout
setting or user connection limit that could be causing this? What should we
look at to resolve the issue?
Your ideas and suggestions are welcomed.
