I have several Access 97 databases that have been hosted
on Windows 98 computers that are in a workgroup. When the
Access databases were hosted on the Windows 98 computers
multiple users could access the databases at the same time
without any problems. We recently moved the Access
databases over to a Windows 2003 member server that is a
part of the same Windows 98 workgroup and now only a
single user can access the databases at the same time, if
a second user tries to access the databases the user
receives an error that the database is currently in use.
How do I allow multiple users to access an Access 97
database that is hosted on a Windows 2003 member server
that is in a workgroup and not a domain? everyone seems to have the
correct rights.
