Multiple Versions of Project

I have to work with and advise staff on 98, 2000 and 2003 versions of
Project. Is it possible to have all 3 versions installed on my laptop that
can run seperately so that I can replicate problems using the target version?

Hi Steve,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Yes - that's what I have set up. Make sure you start with the earliest
version, use separate directories and don't overwrite the previous version
when asked. (Be aware that there may be some conflicts, so I wouldn't use
that PC for "real" projects, though I have no chapter and verse on what
conflicts may occur.) Good luck!

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :))

Steve,
Yes. I have those same three versions installed and running under
Windows XP Home for basically the same reason - so I can respond to
posts from an assortment of users on this and other newsgroups.
Generally I do not experience problems having all three versions on a
single PC.
