Greetings-- I'm new to Mac 9 (I start six weeks ago) and am running into problem I've never encountered with other systems. Last night, at around 9:30pm PST, a colleague sent me an email with a Word attachment; I received six copies of that email at the same time.
Then, about 90 minutes later, I sent an email to three different colleagues with a completely different Word attachment; when one of them opened it this morning, he had 20 copies. New copies have continued to arrive in his queue through the day, and 19 hours after the original email, he has received about 100 copies. I've tried working with my ISP tech services at SBC/Yahoo/AT&T, but they thus far can't identify the problem. One second-level tech guy closely studied the header on one of the replicated emails and the best he could say was that it made no sense.
Has anyone had experience with a problem like this? I'd be grateful for any advice. Thank you.
