Multiuser Capability

We are developing a solution with MS Access as backend and
VB as Front-end. I have the following questions:

1. Is Access by default can be used in a multiuser
environment? If yes can you suggest me a resource/URL in
MSDN which talks about this feature of Access?

2. How many concurrent users Access can support?

If you can throw some light into these points.
