Music Error when played from emailed/transferred Power Point file

I've transferred a power point file from the computer in which I create
it. I can play the music just fine on the original computer but th
music doesn't play when I email/transfer it to another computer.

I can play certain types of music but there are some that I cannot pla
at all. It just says, "Window's Media Player cannot play the file. I
the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to th
network..." Do I need to download the music file separately on th
computer that I transferred the Power Point file to? If not, are ther
any other alternative solutions? Thanks in advance

Music can be embedded or linked. If it's linked you need to send the music

Only WAV files can be embedded in PowerPoint, while other sound files
are linked externally. So you must transfer your external music files
with your presentation to another computer together with correct
relative path.

Of course there're some alternative way to do. For example, you can
transform your PPT to video files, so all musics are included in the
video files, and you can easily transfer or email the single file as
you like.

But maybe some video files are a little big for online transfering.
Actually Flash is the best way to share files online. Convert it to
Flash movie also retain musics and animations in PowerPoint with
Wondershare PPT2Flash (http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-

I suspect you do not have the needed codecs on the receiving PC. For a full

One solution is to use something like PFCMedia or PFCPro to process the file
into a more standard format that is compatible across almost all Windows PCs
and PowerPoint.

Okay, so I can either convert my music files to WAV form or convert my
whole powerpoint to video form?

How do I know what form my music files are? Are they MIDI or... Is
there anyway to check?

Which way do you think would be the easiest and best way to do this
guys?
