Music Files

Hello could someone help me? I have been working on a small simple site for
a christian band. They would like to have people to be able to access song
samples of their music. My problem, I cannot seem to add any type of music
file to the webpage for someone to access. I have tried to just insert a
file of a music extension to the page, but so far no luck. I know it
cannot be that difficult. I just don't know how. HELP

yep - hyperlink to sound file -
depending on the sound file format - it'll either play ok... or might
come up requesting a "player" the site visitor might not have, or it
might have to be saved before able to be played.
then again - there are options for you, depending how you want it all
to look on the site, how quick it plays regardless of the visitors
connection speed...... if you want a hand to get this done, and I
can show you a page with samples on - drop me an email.

The easiest way is to make links to the actual music files (eg WAV or MP3 or
whatever).
Insert, Hyperlink....etc.

Hi there, I'm a novice with web sites, but I'm getting there - I have burned
a CD's songs to my computer, but I don't know how to make the link from my
page to the music.

Also, I have multiple files to add to my hyperlink buttons - how do I create
sub menus, or whatever is easiest for me?

These are the two things hanging me up from completing the site. It's for
my nonprofit and it has taken me way too long to get it done. Hope you can
help. Thanks muchly! Char

You need to import/upload the media (music files ) to your FP web in a file format supported by the Web
- you can't play them from your CD
Then get the WMP addin to add the media to a page
See
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/downloads/addin/searchdetail.asp?a=632
or
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/downloads/addin/searchdetail.asp?a=113

The simplest navigation is created using the Nav View and Nav bars
