I have Office 2004 for Mac. When I receive a PowerPoint-file (slide-show) created on a PC, I can't hear any music that goes with the slide show. Who can tell me what to do to have the music? Many thanks!

This will explain what's probably gone wrong:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email
a presentation

But it's something that the sender of the file will have to work on. There's
probably nothing you can do to fix it, unfortunately.

Thanks for your message Steve. But the problem here is a Mac/PC problem I guess. Because that same PowerPoint-file does work fine (with music) on the PC of a friend. But when I open the file on my Mac, I can see the slide-show but the music disappears ...

It's possible that it's a PC/Mac issue, but there are other factors involved.

Have you eliminated the other possible causes for the sounds not to work (as
explain in that web page)?
