Music in presentation on Mac

Hello,

I'm using Powerpoint Mac version 11.1 on OSX at the moment. I've imported a
music file. I like to play the music throughout the whole powerpoint
presentation, but at the moment the tune needs to be finished first until
it proceeds with the other slides.

Is there a setting so that the tune starts while it proceeds with the other
slides?

Control-click the sound icon, and select "Custom Animation" from the
contextual menu that appears. In the left pane, select the sound, and in
the right pane, click the "Effect Options" button. In the dialog that
appears, click the "Media Options" tab. Under "Stop playing:", choose
"After 999 slides", and click OK. That will allow the sound to continue
playing throughout the presentation.
