music notes

Hi, everyone. Am taking music lesson and i want to use my mac for
taking notes . I just can not fiqure out how to bars, notes, and
other symbols when taking notes. I tryed the symbol under i think
tools but no luck. Any help would be greatly appricated. Am running
word 11.3.4 . carlos

Hi Carlos:

Look on your keyboard for the keys labelled A, B, C, D, E, F, ... Use those


Seriously: Setting up music on staves in Word is a pain in the A. Yes, you
can do it, but you need special fonts and a special template.

It's not worth it: go buy yourself an application designed to do the job, it
will be so much easier. There are applications out there that combine with
MIDI to not only enable you to write down the music, but hear how it will
sound.

Google is your friend: and anything that does not offer a free trial is NOT
worth having
