music slideshow in powerpoint - please walk thru

C

CatVan

Hi everyone,

This question probably has been asked in various forms throughout the forum,
so many apologies...however, since I'm short on time and need to get this
together ASAP, I was wondering if some folks out there could walk me thru how
to put together a picture slideshow in powerpoint (with the white background
removed and the pictures to take up the whole screen) that would run
automatically as a particular song is played - preferably embedded in the
powerpoint rather than on the CD.

Also, would there be any conversion issues or differences between mac/pc
versions of this presentation?

If i have it on a laptop hooked up to a projector, how would the sound best
work?

(this is all for my wedding this weekend and I'm drawing a mental block on
how to do this...I took powerpoint in high school years ago and can't recall
left from right).

THanks!

You can set the pictures you want as background. To do so, right click on the
working area, click background.
Then select Fill Effect > Picture. Select the picture you want to insert and
then click OK.

First, you will need to insert the sound,
To embed song, the song must be in .wav format.
Check this tutorial out on how to embed wav file.

Just to add on, for your case,
this link that i have given:
"Check this tutorial out on how to embed wav file.

", you can follow if your sound format is in .mp3.

If you are using .wav, just add the wav file under Slide Transition.
