Must agree to a software license warning before accessing a docume

I just bought a new computer with Vista and installed Word from a CD. I had
no trouble in previous years installing it on my old XP comuters, but on this
new one a weird thing happened. Every time I open a Word document, a software
license agreement appears on the screen and I must click "accept" before I
can proceed. how can I turn that off?

If you have Windows XP, then log in to Windows as Administrator, start
an Office program, accept the EULA, close the Office program, log out of
Windows as Administrator, and log back in to Windows using your normal
user profile.

If you have Windows Vista, then right-click on an Office program
shortcut, choose to run the Office program as Administrator, accept the
EULA, close the Office program, and then start the Office program normally.

If the previous suggestion doesn't help, then see

End User License Agreement every time that you start an Office program".

Or upgrade your Vista to XP.

As this particular issue occurs in both Windows XP and Windows Vista, I
don't see how your suggestion helps. Well, duhhhhh, I get it... you're
just a troll and you weren't trying to be helpful.

In my case, MS office installed fine on Windows XP with the default single
user that I had. In VISA, the EULA problem appeared even though I am the
only user and I have administrator privledges.

I've tried the official microsoft solution, which says;
"# Note For Windows Vista, click Start, click All Programs, click Microsoft
Office, right-click an Office program, click Run as administrator, and then
click Continue."

However, right-clicking on any of the shortcuts does not show the "run as
administrator" option. Again, note that the one user on this machine is an
administrator already.

The only other option on the knowledge base article requires editing the
registry. Something I would rather not do, and really should not be a
requirement to make the software work properly.
